Positive: If you're looking to book a stay in Marrakesh and you want to experience staying in a Riad in the Medina look no further, Riad Sumud is definitely the place to stay. The Riad is brand new, super comfortable (we were in the King Deluxe room) and clean, very good attention to details, we've been in various 4+ stars in Europe that were worse than Sumud! Also, perfect location to access anything in the Medina with a short walk, we always found ourselves coming to the Riad in the middle of the day to refresh, relax and reset ourselves from the awesome overload of information that Marrakesh is! Breakfast and food in general was amazing (we had quite a few meals in the Riad during our stay, including authentic Moroccan dishes) and there's no words to describe the staff, supper attentive and caring, always available to help at any time (literally, being it on the Riad or through WhatsApp), amazing customer care and experience. We had a situation of food poisoning from a restaurant dinner and they took care of us with some special meals and the most amazing tea at any time of the day, and helping manage a few bookings we have done. We really can't thank Mustapha, Soulaimane and the rest of the staff enough. We also booked the transfers from and to the airport with them, Abdou, the driver and owner of the transfer company was great, and gave us some great tips as soon as we landed, and was on time every time we booked something with them. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you Riad Sumud Team.

Negative: No bad experiences, it's a great Riad and restored with taste and appreciation for the original architecture and original features, some level of noise should be expected, again not a bad thing, but something to be aware of if you choosing to stay in the Medina in general.

Summary: Great experience in a great location, we will be back with friend and family for sure.

Positive: The property was tastefully furnished and the en-suite bathroom was clean and had a powerful shower with plenty of hot water.

Negative: The stairs to the rooms upstairs would have benefited from a hand rail or banisters. A chair in the room would have been useful rather than a floor cushion for those who would have an issue for sitting on the floor.
